Swans duo star in Wales win

5th March

Swansea City's Ashley Williams and Neil Taylor started as Wales cruised to a pleasing 3-1 win over Iceland in Cardiff tonight (Wednesday).
Williams captained the side before being replaced by ex-Swan Sam Ricketts just past the hour mark, while Taylor played all 90 minutes in the friendly victory. Ben Davies also made a late cameo as he played for the last two minutes after replacing Hal Robson-Kanu.
James Collins put Wales ahead before Johann Berg Gudmundsson's effort deflected off Williams and past keeper Wayne Hennessey after 26 minutes.
But Wales took control after the break with Sam Vokes and Gareth Bale scoring to give Chris Coleman's side victory.

Wilfried Bony came off the bench as Ivory Coast drew 2-2 in Belgium. Bony replaced Manchester City's Yaya Toure for the last seven minutes in Brussels as his side came from 2-0 to claim a draw thanks to Max Gradel's last-gasp equaliser.
Michel Vorm was not involved for Holland as they went down 2-0 to France in Paris while Ki Sung-Yueng - currently on loan at Sunderland - played for 86 minutes as Korea won 2-0 in Greece.
Meanwhile, young duo Scott Tancock and Lee Lucas played the full 90 minutes as Wales Under-21s lost 1-0 to England in Derby.
A Nathan Redmond goal proved the difference as Wales remain third in Group 1 of their Euro Championships U21 qualifying group. Gwion Edwards was an unused substitute.
Jordi Amat was also in U21 action as he featured for the whole game as Spain beat Germany 2-0 in a friendly on Tuesday.
