Swans duo in Wales action

6th September

Ashley Williams captained Wales while Ben Davies featured for the whole 90 minutes as Wales were beaten 2-1 by Macedonia in their 2014 World Cup qualifier in Skopje.
Wales had fallen behind to a 20th-minute strike from Ivan Trickovski, but Aaron Ramsey levelled from the penalty spot seven minutes before the break.
However, Alexsandar Trajkovski grabbed the winner for the hosts with ten minutes left.
The defeat means Wales have six points from their eight games in Group A, with their next game against Serbia in Cardiff on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Michel Vorm played the whole game as Holland claimed a last-gasp draw in Estonia thanks to Robin Van Persie's penalty in added-on time.

On the Under-21 stage, Scott Tancock was selected for Wales as they went down 1-0 in San Marino while, on Thursday night, Jordi Amat featured for 90 minutes as Spain thumped Austria 6-2 in Graz.
