Swans film gets Welsh BAFTA nominations

28th August
Jack to a King has this week been nominated for five BAFTA CYMRU Awards.
It will see the documentary film go head-to-head with the likes of Doctor Who and Da Vinci's Demons for the Editing and Graphics awards.
The Swansea story, which will also be given a special showing in the House of Commons soon, is also nominated for best Feature / Television Feature and Sound awards with Marc Evans also being recognised for his Directing skills.
The feature, which depicts the rags to riches rise of Swansea City from the bottom of the Football League to the heights of the Premier League, has also aired on American television this month.
NBC premiered the Swansea story in two parts with the final instalment being show across the United States last weekend.
The documentary opened the Kicking and Screening Soccer Film Festival in New York and has been screened at the British Embassy in Washington DC and to US soccer fans in Portland.
