Swans handed Bony boost

Swansea City have received a major boost ahead of Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup trip to Wolves after Wilfried Bony returned to full training.

The Swans striker has not played since limping off early on at Everton on December 18.

Bony picked up a hamstring problem at Goodison Park, but he is now fully fit and closing in on a comeback.

He would be a welcome addition for boss Carlos Carvalhal, who did not have a senior striker to call on when the Swans took on Tottenham in midweek.

Tammy Abraham missed the Spurs game with a hip complaint, meaning Jordan Ayew and winger Nathan Dyer started up front.

Youngster Oli McBurnie came off the bench on Tuesday and is another option for the Wolves clash.
