Swans a "joy to watch", says Taylor

Neil Taylor says his team-mates have been a "joy to watch" this season.

The defender has been out of action for the last six months after suffering a broken ankle against Sunderland back in September.

Since then the Wales international has undergone successful surgery and his rehabilitation has now seen him return to full training, as well as featuring for the Under-21s on Thursday night.

But following his spell on the sidelines this season, the 24-year-old has been able to fully appreciate the stylish football that has been a cornerstone of Swansea City for a number of years.

"It's been interesting to watch the boys from the outside," said Taylor, speaking in an exclusive interview with Jack Magazine, the official matchday programme for Saturday's clash against Arsenal. "But to be honest it has been a joy to watch and the fans here are very fortunate in terms of the football they get to see week in, week out.

"I think the biggest platform for us since we arrived in the Premier League has been our ability to keep the ball. I've seen some teams arrive here in a relegation battle and they just can't keep hold of the football, and I think that is a downfall.

"But it's been another great season for the club, we have been on the up for a number of years now and these are exciting times. On a personal level it has been frustrating but at least the club continues to move forward."
