Swansea City have been nominated in three categories at the prestigious Football Business Awards, including the popular community defibrillator campaign.

The Swans have been selected as a finalist in the Innovation Award for an App designed for supporters which incorporates in-app ticketing.

The club has also been recognised for the Best Use of Technology in Football for both our fan App and player App.

On top of that, the Swans’ defibrillator campaign – set up in memory of the late Mitchell Joseph – has been nominated for the Best Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme.

The Football Business Awards recognise and reward the hard work that takes place in supporting the success of the game. This is the national event at which all the achievements off the pitch are celebrated at the end of each year.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on November 22.

It’s fourth time in the last year that the Swans Official App has been shortlisted for a top industry award after recognition at the Sports Business Awards, Sports Technology Awards (two categories) and Design Week Awards, where the club was highly commended.
