The Swans are set to move into the heart of the city to meet the growing demands of the club’s passionate and proud Jack Army.

Having seen a huge growth in merchandise sales over recent years, the club has agreed to open a new Swans store in the city centre.

Situated in Union Street, close to the main entrance of the Quadrant Shopping Centre and Swansea Market, the new double-fronted store will house the complete Swans range over 1400 square feet of modern floor space.

It will also provide a customer services point and interactive screens, plus a sales outlet for tickets and hospitality.

With the opening targeted for mid-October, just in time for the busy Christmas sales period, the club’s chief operating officer, Chris Pearlman, believes it will prove a popular move for fans.

“As the club is an important part of the community, we felt we needed to have a more visible presence in the heart of Swansea,” he explained.

“The continued prosperity of the city will benefit us all, and we believe this is a meaningful step in helping that growth.

“The busy club shop at the Liberty Stadium will remain, but the new city centre store will also provide another connection point for the club with our supporters.”

Further details on the store will follow prior to the grand opening.
