Swansea City’s squad will be reunited tomorrow as they step up preparations for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Manchester United.

Carlos Carvalhal has been without eight senior players during the international break, meaning plans for the trip to Old Trafford have been disrupted.

But Welsh international duo Andy King and Connor Roberts were back at Fairwood today having played their part in the China Cup.

And they will be joined on Thursday by Lukasz Fabianski, Kristoffer Nordfeldt, Martin Olsson, Alfie Mawson, Ki Sung-Yueng and Tammy Abraham.

The Swans will run fitness checks on their entire international contingent ahead of the United clash.

King played the full 90 minutes in both Wales’s China Cup matches, while fellow midfielder Ki was on the pitch for the majority of South Korea’s friendlies against Northern Ireland and Poland.

Roberts played the final half hour against Uruguay on Monday, But the good news for Carvalhal was that his five other internationals were all unused substitutes in their respective nations’ midweek games.
