Swans say Save Our Steel

8th April

Swansea City will show support for our local steelworkers before the Barclays Premier League clash against Chelsea at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
Closure of the Tata Steel plants at Port Talbot and Llanelli will have a massive impact on the lives of the workers themselves, their families and those other jobs and businesses that rely on the steel industry.
Closure will affect many of those who will be sitting in the stands at the Liberty on Saturday and have devastating consequences for the local economy with up to 20,000 jobs at serious risk.
The Swans are standing up for the steelworkers and our local community by backing calls for a solution to save the industry from closure.
The club will be welcoming local steelworkers onto the pitch before the game to unveil a special Save Our Steel banner that they will then carry to all parts of the ground.
Please show your Swans support.
