Swans spread festive cheer

16th December

The Swans squad turned out in festive force to add some Christmas cheer to the local kids of Swansea.
The Liberty Stadium welcomed hundreds of children who had spent time at the Dyfed Ward of Morriston Hospital over the course of the year, plus other youngsters from the community who had been through a difficult time.
The event had been organised by the Swans, nursing staff at Morriston Hospital and local businessman Phil Lake.
Garry Monk's entire squad turned up to sign autographs, have pictures taken with the excited youngsters and hand out special Cyril the Swan Santas.
"It was fantastic to see so many smiles on the kids' faces,'' explained Swans skipper Ashley Williams.
"It was great to speak to the kids and their parents. Some of them have been through a tough time this year so it was the least the squad could do to come and help them enjoy their party.
"It's important to think of others at this time of the year, especially when Swansea City plays such a big role in the local community.''
Here are some of the best pictures from the festive fun. And watch out for the video . . . coming soon on the club's official YouTube channel www.swanstv.com.
