Swans spread festive cheer at annual hospital visit

23rd December

Members of the Swans squad helped to spread the festive cheer at Morriston Hospital during a special Christmas visit.
After recently hosting hundreds of young patients from the hospital in a special party at the Liberty, the players and club ambassador Lee Trundle visited children who couldn't make the original event.
The group headed to the Oakwood Ward and Dyfed Ward at the Swansea-based hospital to chat to children, sign autographs and hand out gifts.
Swans defender Neil Taylor underlined the importance of meeting the children ahead of Christmas.

"The players loved meeting children at the hospital - this is a very important visit for us," said Taylor. "Despite what they are going through, the kids always have a huge smile on their face and they are great examples to us all.
"They have great spirit and strength, and it's always nice to be able to put smiles on faces.
"We have just as much fun as they do during the visit because we love chatting to the kids, their parents and the staff and having pictures with them."
