Swans spread festive cheer at annual hospital visit

23rd December

Members of the Swans squad helped to spread the festive cheer at Morriston Hospital during a special Christmas visit.
After hosting hundreds of young patients from the hospital in a special party at the Liberty last week, Leon Britton, Jack Cork, Neil Taylor, Matt Grimes and Bafe Gomis - alongside club ambassador Lee Trundle - continued the goodwill on Tuesday as they visited children who couldn't make the original event.
And Swans defender Taylor insisted on the importance of supporting less fortunate children at this time of year.
"It's massively important that we come here and show support to children who are having a hard time at this time of the year," said Taylor.
"No matter what they're going through, the kids are always great fun. The spirit and strength they have is great to see, and it's always nice to be able to put smiles on faces.
"It's tough for the parents too, but they and the hospital staff are doing a great job."
