The Liberty Stadium played host to The Wave's 'Cold Truth' Sleep Out last Wednesday, in aid of the city's homeless.

The event aimed to raise awareness and help tackle homelessness in Swansea by raising money for four local charities - Zac’s Place, Llamau, Trampface and Matthew’s House, which is one of the Swans’ designated charities for the 2018-19 season.

Club ambassador Lee Trundle and a number of staff members braved the chill and sleeping outside in the car park overnight to raise money for a cause which affects so many people across South Wales.

While the event was not a true comparison to how homeless people live, the club hope that by raising awareness of the issue it will help raise funds for the projects that tackle homelessness.

To make a donation to Matthew’s House, please use this Just Giving link where all money raised will go straight to the charity: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/swanseacityafcmatthewshouse.
