Swans travel to Reading for pre-season friendly

Swansea City will travel to Reading's Madejski Stadium for a pre-season friendly on Saturday, August 2 (3pm).
It's the second consecutive year the club has made the short trip up the M4 to face the Championship side in a pre-season friendly with the Swans running out 3-0 winners last time out via goals from Michu, Jonjo Shelvey and Pablo Hernandez.
Garry Monk's men will start their preparations for the new Barclays Premier League campaign in the USA with a two-week training camp from July 6 - 20.
The trip includes two friendlies against Mexican Premier League side Chivas at Miller Park, Milwaukee, on Wednesday, July 16; and Minnesota United of the NASL at the National Sports Center Stadium, Blaine, on Saturday, July 19.
The Swans will then set up camp on the south coast of Devon for three days which will focus around friendlies against League Two sides Plymouth Argyle and Exeter City.
The Swans will face Plymouth at Home Park on Sunday, July 27 (5pm) and Exeter City at St James' Park on Tuesday, July 29 (7.15pm).
