Swans trip proves a big hit

14th July

After a busy schedule with tough triple training sessions, the Swans were rewarded with tickets to watch Major League Baseball club Chicago Cubs in action.
Garry Monk's squad headed to Wrigley Field to see the Cubs play Atlanta Braves, with the home side losing 10-7.
With the baseball game being shown at the same time as the World Cup final, the team didn't miss out as they also watched the action from Brazil inside the stadium, with German keeper Gerhard Tremmel, in particular, an interested viewer.
The trip allowed the team to bond further as they continue to prepare for the start of the Barclays Premier League season.
The squad say farewell to Chicago on Monday as they set off for their new base in Milwaukee ahead of Wednesday's game against Chivas Guadalajara.
