Swansea City will wait on the fitness of Bersant Celina as the Kosovo international attempts to recover from injury in time to face QPR.

Celina missed the midweek win over Stoke after being injured in a challenge by Jonny Howson during the closing moments of the victory against Middlesbrough.

But he is making good progress with his rehabilitation from the foot injury, and could yet be involved for the Swans at Loftus Road this weekend.

"Bersant has been making good progress, he was out training today going through some agility work, so we will see how he reacts," said Potter.

"But he has a chance that he could make the group for the weekend, which is good. Otherwise we are pretty much as we were."

Mike van der Hoorn had come off against Middlesbrough as a precaution due to a groin problem, and needed treatment on a couple of occasions against Stoke, but Potter says the Dutchman is fine and there are no concerns over his fitness.

"Mike is fine, he has obviously played a lot of games and it is the stage of the season where things are tightening up a bit," added Potter.

"He came off as a precaution against Middlesbrough, but he recovers well and will be ready for Saturday."

Potter also revealed he is hopeful of having club captain Leroy Fer back in training next week following his long lay-off with a hamstring problem.

"Leroy will hopefully start training next week, we will see," said Potter.

"But he is working really well with the physios. This weekend will come too soon but hopefully he will be with the group this week."

Erwin Mulder (broken finger) and Martin Olsson (Achilles) remain on the sidelines.
