Swansea City announce Diego Bortoluzzi as coach

28th January

Diego Bortoluzzi has reunited with head coach Francesco Guidolin today after joining Swansea City's coaching team.
Bortoluzzi worked under Guidolin at Palermo, Parma and Udinese and played a key role in their success.
The 49-year-old, who was most recently at Verona, becomes the third Italian among the Swans' coaching staff, which also includes Gabriele Ambrosetti.
Bortoluzzi, who featured for Atalanta, Brescia and Venezia during his playing career, will work under Guidolin and alongside Alan Curtis, Ambrosetti, David Adams and keeper coach Tony Roberts.
He was involved in training today (Thursday) as the Swans prepare for Tuesday night's Barclays Premier League fixture at West Brom.
