Swansea City announce home friendly with Deportivo La Coruna

30th June

Swansea City's final preparations for the new Barclays Premier League campaign will see La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna visit the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, August 1 (5.30pm).
The Spanish club will provide the final opposition for Garry Monk's Swans ahead of their opening league fixture against Chelsea a week later.
The Swans took on La Liga opposition last summer, with Villarreal running out victors at the Liberty.
Coruna finished last season in 16th place under the leadership of former midfielder Victor Sanchez - who won the league and cup with the club along with reaching the Champions League semi-final in 2004 - during a seven-year spell at Estadio Riazor.
Ticket details will be announced in due course.
The Swans will also face top Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach and second-tier 1860 Munich during a tour of Germany, while domestic matches also see Monk's men face Championship duo Reading and Nottingham Forest.
