Swansea City are close to full strength for Saturday’s trip to face Barnsley at Oakwell.

Head coach Steve Cooper confirmed the Swans’ international contingent had all returned fit and available to face the Tykes.

And winger Aldo Kalulu is set to be the only absentee, with the French winger nearing a return from an ankle injury.

“It’s looking good. There are no updates in terms of unavailability which is always a good thing after players leave to go on international duty,” said Cooper.

“That’s a positive, Aldo Kalulu is getting closer too. He is only a couple of weeks away from training fully with the team.

“He thinks it will be less, but the medics tell me it will be two weeks so that is good.

“We are fit and ready to go.”

Cooper also confirmed full-back Kyle Naughton had quickly shaken off the knock that forced him off during the early stages of the defeat to Stoke.

“Kyle is fine and ready to go. It was unfortunate, he had to come off because of a knock,” said Cooper.

“We all know Kyle well enough to know it would take a lot for him not to train and play.

“But it was only a couple of days and a frustrating one for everyone. He was playing well and back in the team.

“But he is fine and he was back in as normal a couple of days later.”
