Swansea City defender Brandon Cooper joins Swindon Town on loan
Swansea City defender Brandon Cooper has joined Swindon Town on loan for the remainder of the season, subject to international clearance.
Cooper, who has been with the Swans since the age of six, has enjoyed a breakthrough season at first-team level, making eight appearances and winning praise from head coach Russell Martin.
The defender – who made his Swansea City debut against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup in 2018 - made a big impression on loan at Newport County during the first half of last season, playing 25 times in all competitions and scoring his first senior goal.
Despite suffering an ankle injury, he returned to feature in the penultimate league game of the 2020-21 season as a late substitute in the Swans' 2-1 win over Derby.
Everyone at Swansea City wishes Brandon every success during his time at the County Ground.
