Swansea City defender Connor Roberts returns from Bristol Rovers

16th December

Connor Roberts has returned to Swansea City early from a loan spell at Bristol Rovers.
The promising full-back joined Rovers in August in the hope that he would get regular first-team action with the League One club.
But Welsh Under-21 international Roberts, who can play on either side of defence, has started only two league games and three cup ties for Rovers.
Roberts's loan spell was due to come to an end in January, but he has come back a little earlier than planned.
"I would like to place on record my thanks for Connor's efforts whilst he has been with us and wish him every success for the future," said Rovers manager Darrell Clarke.
Roberts spent last season on loan at Yeovil Town, where he enjoyed a highly successful campaign.
He signed a new three-year deal at the Liberty Stadium back in September.
