Swansea City defender Jazz Richards completes Fulham move

2nd July

Swansea City defender Jazz Richards has joined Championship side Fulham for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old has completed a medical at Craven Cottage and has signed a three-year deal with the London club.
The Wales international made 12 appearances last season for the Swans while he also spent four months on loan with Fulham featuring 14 times to help them finish 17th in the second tier.
Richards then returned to the Swans in time to feature in the 1-0 win at Arsenal and the home defeat to Manchester City.
Local product Richards, who hails from Brynmelyn, made his Swans debut in 2009 during a 3-0 defeat by Middlesbrough, and has made 51 appearances in all competitions for the club.
The five-cap international, who converted from central midfield to full-back, featured in the Swans' promotion campaign from the Championship before going on to make 18 top-flight appearances for the club.
He has also spent time on loan with Crystal Palace, with whom he again tasted Play-Off success at Wembley in 2013, before another temporary switch to Huddersfield saw him make nine appearances in the following campaign.
Everyone at Swansea City would like to thank Jazz for his service to the club and wish him all the best for the future.
