Swansea City to face Swindon Town in pre-season friendly

Swansea City will face Swindon Town in a pre-season friendly as part of preparations for the 2021-22 Championship campaign.

The game will take place at the County Ground against the League Two side on Saturday, July 17 with a kick-off time of 3pm.

Swindon suffered relegation from League One during the 2020-21 campaign and recently appointed John McGreal as their new manager..

The Swans last faced The Robins back in January 2008 in League One, with the game ending in a 1-1 draw.

The fixture is the third pre-season game to be confirmed, with Steve Cooper’s side already travelling to Forest Green on July 28 (7pm) as well as a trip to Plymouth Argyle on July 20 (7pm).
