Swansea City forward Andre Ayew joins West Ham

8th August

Swansea City forward Andre Ayew has completed his move to fellow Premier League club West Ham for £20.5m.
The Ghanaian has completed a successful medical and will link up with the Hammers in time for their opening league game at Chelsea next Monday night.
Ayew joined the Swans in June 2015 on a free transfer from Marseille, and enjoyed a successful year at the Liberty as he finished top scorer along with being named Newcomer of the Year at the club's awards night.
The 26-year-old marked his debut with a goal in the opening-day 2-2 draw at defending champions Chelsea, and he continued his form with another strike against Newcastle in the following game.
His performances led to him being named the Premier League's Player of the Month for August, while Ayew ended the campaign with 12 goals for the Swans.

Everyone at Swansea City would like to thank Andre for his service to the club, and wish him well for the future.
