Swansea City have signed Holland and Queens Park Rangers midfielder Leroy Fer

Swansea City have completed their first business of the summer after signing Holland international Leroy Fer from Queens Park Rangers for an undisclosed fee.
The midfielder, who has signed a three-year contract, returns to the Liberty Stadium on a permanent deal following a successful loan spell with the Swans last season.
Fer originally joined the Swans on February 1 and made 11 appearances as Francesco Guidolin's side finished 12th in the Premier League.
After making his Swans debut against Tottenham Hotspur, Fer's first start came in the 2-1 win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. He also started in the victories over Aston Villa, Chelsea and West Ham.

The 26-year-old ends a two-year spell at QPR, for whom he scored eight goals in 50 appearances following a switch from fellow English club Norwich City.
Fer began his career in the academy at Feyenoord, going on to make over 100 appearances for the club after being handed his debut at the age of 17.
During his time at De Kuip Stadium, he featured in the Uefa Cup and helped the club win the Dutch Cup in 2008.
After drawing plaudits for his box-to-box displays and technical ability, Fer moved to FC Twente in August 2011 where he would work under Steve McClaren before he made the move to England to join Norwich City in August 2013.
On the international front, he won the first of his 11 Holland caps in 2010 and was part of the squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, scoring against Chile in the group stage.
