Swansea City keeper Lukasz Fabianski looking forward to Liberty experience

6th August

Lukasz Fabianski expects Swansea City to face their strongest pre-season test when La Liga side Villarreal visit the Liberty on Saturday (3pm).
The Spanish side provide the final warm-up fixture for the Swans before they kick off their Barclays Premier League campaign at Manchester United on August 16.
Having faced successful Mexican side Chivas Guadalajara and American outfit Minnesota United during the two-week Stateside tour, the Swans have also taken on Plymouth Argyle, Exeter City, Bournemouth and Reading.
Now they take on Villarreal, who will play in the Europa League this season following their sixth-placed finish last term.
And Fabianski, who left Arsenal this summer to join Garry Monk's squad, is relishing the prospect of running out at the Liberty as a Swan for the first time.

"I won the last time I played at the Liberty, so hopefully we can do the same on Saturday," said Fabianski, who kept a cleansheet during Arsenal's 2-0 win in SA1 during the 2012-13 campaign.
"Hopefully I will get to play at the Liberty because I'm really looking forward to it. My first game in front of our fans as a Swansea City player - I'd love that.
"And as it is the last game before the Premier League season kicks off, it's important that we put in a good performance and get a good result.
"We have had some difficult games in pre-season, but this one will be the strongest. It will be a very good test for us."
Fabianski has already featured in four of the club's pre-season friendlies, which has given him valuable time to gel with his new team-mates.
And the Polish keeper, who starred in Arsenal's FA Cup success last season, already feels settled in the Swans system.
"I was glad to get the opportunity to play in a few pre-season games because it allows you to understand the players around you a lot more," said the 29-year-old.
"It's a lot about communication and now we have a better understanding of each other because we have spent time on that. Tactically, too, we know a lot more about what we want to do.
"So everything is coming together and knowing this is the final pre-season fixture before the league kicks off makes it very exciting. I can't wait."

Tickets are still available for Saturday's friendly with Villarreal at the Liberty (3pm).
Tickets are priced £15 Adults and £5 concessions, and can be purchased online, in-person at the Ticket Office or by calling 0844 815 6665.
