Swansea City Ladies Cyncoed

4th May 2016

Swansea City Ladies secured their eighth consecutive win in all competitions with a 2-0 victory away to Cyncoed Ladies on Sunday.
After a slow start the Swans managed to create chances through wingers Sarah Adams and Katy Hosford.
The visitors were awarded a penalty just before the half hour mark when Hosford was brought down in the box. Striker Jodie Passmore stepped up to convert from the spot.
The Swans began to play with tempo in the second half, showing some excellent controlled passing and creating some impressive attacking chances.
Ian Owen's side created a number of chances in front of goal only to be kept out by Cyncoed's keeper.
However, Swansea did strengthen their lead in the 80th minute when an impressive run from Hosford found Passmore on the edge of the box to fire home sealing victory for Swansea City Ladies.
