Swansea City Ladies celebrate a goal

Swansea City Ladies have seen all forthcoming fixtures up to April 4 postponed due to the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak.

Ian Owen's unbeaten side had been set to face Connah's Quay Nomads in the semi-finals of the FAW Women's Cup this weekend.

But that game has been postponed, as has the league fixture against Cyncoed and the Welsh Premier Women's League Cup final against Cardiff Met.

Swansea City Ladies are next due to play against Rhyl on Sunday, April 5.

The Football Association of Wales confirmed a suspension of domestic football at all levels on Friday.

"The Football Association of Wales has today (13 March) taken the decision to suspend domestic football at all levels in Wales with immediate effect until 4 April due to the COVID-19 outbreak," read a statement.

"The intention at this time will be to resume the football schedule depending on the medical advice and conditions from the relevant authorities at that time.

"The FAW is fully aware of the impact this will have on the domestic game but the health and safety of all fans, players, volunteers and stakeholders are of paramount importance.

"The FAW will continue to monitor this situation on a day-by-day basis and will continue to provide updates when appropriate."
