Swansea City Ladies Jodie Passmore

15th December

Swansea City Ladies recorded their sixth successive victory in all competitions on Sunday with a 1-0 victory over Cyncoed Ladies at Llanrumney Playing Fields.
The Swans were awarded a penalty in the first half when Cyncoed were penalised for a handball in the box. Striker Jodie Passmore stepped up to the spot but failed to convert the chance from 12 yards.
Forward Katie Davies had an opportunity to give Ian Owen's side the lead from a corner but she could only see her header loop over the bar.
Swans Ladies continued to create a host of chances and broke the deadlock six minutes into the second half when Passmore netted in her fourth consecutive match with a headed goal form a corner.
Swansea continued to dominate possession and had many attempts at goal denied by Cyncoed's keeper throughout the match, but it was Passmore's second-half header that proved the difference.
