Swansea City Ladies signings

The Swans Ladies' squad has been bolstered this summer thanks to the signing of four new young players.
Graduating from the Swansea City Girls Under 16 side are trio, Molly Cana, Pam Pelders, and Charlotte Phillips, whilst keeper Courtney Young signs from Villa Dino Christchurch, where she was a part of the undefeated U16 squad that won the South Wales Women's and Girls' League last season.
"It feels really good to have signed for the Swans," said Young, who made a promising start to her Swans career with a League debut on Sunday against Port Talbot, keeping a clean sheet in the process. "Training with the side has gone really well and I feel confident within the team," she continued.
"I am very excited to have signed for Swans Ladies," echoed centre back Pelders, who like Young has attended Welsh training camps at both U15 and U17 levels. "It's a great opportunity to improve my football skills and it is great to play with so many talented girls who I can learn a lot from."
Joining Young in making her competitive debut at the Genquip Stadium was Cana who came on as a second half sub in the side's first victory of the season in The Welsh Premier Woman's League.
"It felt amazing to make my debut for the Ladies as the football standards were high, but the desire to win was even higher," said Cana after the game. "It feels great to sign for the Swans Ladies, being part of a team with such a high standard of football urges me to be at my best at all times," the right back continued.
Completing the quartet of signings is midfielder Phillips who, as well as playing for Swansea's U16 Girls side, has represented both West Glamorgan and West Wales.
"I'm really pleased to have signed for the Club and I'm looking forward to the season," she said. "I have already learnt a lot through training with the team who have made me feel very welcome."
