Swansea City launch on Dugout
1st December 2016
Swansea City has joined forces with some of the biggest clubs in the world to create Dugout - the ultimate digital football platform.
Swans fans will now get the chance to see more behind-the-scenes footage than ever before, free of charge and all in one place.
The club joins the likes of FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Real Madrid in connecting football fans and delivering exclusive content to its millions of supporters.
The platform allows users to personalise which club and player content they view, with Swans fans being able to follow Swansea City content through a multi-club homepage based on trending content, as well as a specific stream of the club's latest posts.
"Dugout was devised and built for the fans," said Dugout President and co-founder Elliot Richardson. "The game today is truly global and fans don't just want to watch matches in their own country - they want to follow their favourite clubs and players across the world, on and off the pitch.
"That's what Dugout offers - unrivalled access so fans get behind the scenes of the clubs and into the lives of the players."
Dugout.com is free to access and will host content created by the clubs and players, with some being available 24 hours before it is released on any other social media channel - making it the primary source for fans to get news on the clubs and players they love.
Dugout is accessible on desktop in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese and Bahasa Indonesian, while the Dugout app will launch on Monday, December 5, and will be available to download by searching for 'Dugout' on the App Store or Google Play.
