There was a head-to-head clash in League Two as three Swans faced each other.
Josh Vickers was in goal for Barnet while both Josh Sheehan and Alex Samuel featured for Newport County in a game which ended 0-0.
Samuel made his debut for the Exiles as he was introduced as a 29th-minute substitute, and he was denied a perfect start for his new club after Vickers kept out a toe-poked effort.
The point left Newport five points from safety while Barnet are outside the play-off spots only via goal difference.
Remaining in League Two, and there were plenty of goals at Blackpool where Liam Shephard's Yeovil were denied victory in added-on time.
Darren Way's side had led 2-1 going into nine minutes of additional time, but former Aston Villa striker Nathan Delfouneso proved Blackpool's super sub as he grabbed a late equaliser.

In the Championship, Kyle Bartley was part of the Leeds side which went down to a 3-2 defeat at Barnsley.
Garry Monk's side saw their six-match unbeaten league run come to an end at Oakwell, with Leeds dropping to fourth.
Bartley played for the full 90 minutes as he made his 31st appearance of the season for Leeds.
In France, Bafe Gomis made a losing return to his former club Lyon as Marseille were beaten 3-1.
The striker led the Marseille line at Parc OL, but he failed to inspire a Marseille side who now sit seventh in Ligue 1 after a second consecutive league defeat.
Finally, Franck Tabanou featured for Granada in their 3-1 defeat at Espanyol in La Liga.
The left-back made his seventh appearance of the season for Granada, with the 27-year-old replaced at half-time with his team trailing 2-1.
