Marvin Emnes started for Blackburn Rovers and set up a goal as they were beaten by Manchester United in the FA Cup.
The Dutch forward created the opening goal of the game as he raced towards goal before finding former Swans striker Danny Graham in the box, with the striker curling his effort past Sergio Romero after 17 minutes.
United, though, avoided a cup upset as goals from Marcus Rashford and sub Zlatan Ibrahimovic sent Blackburn out of the cup.
In the Championship, Kyle Bartley and Modou Barrow were both in action for Leeds.
Despite falling behind in the ninth minute at Ipswich, Garry Monk's side rallied back to earn a point.
Bartley captained Leeds while Barrow came off the bench in the 77th minute as the visitors moved onto 58 points from 33 games - seven points clear of seventh-placed Norwich City.

There were five goals, a red card and a last-minute winner as Josh Sheehan and Alex Samuel featured for Newport County in their clash at Cambridge United in League Two.
Newport had led 2-0 after an hour, but Cambridge's comeback saw them back on level terms by the 72 minute before a 93rd winner from a saved penalty meant the Exiles suffered defeat.
Both Sheehan and Samuel were replaced at the break with Newport 1-0 ahead, while this loss means they sit seven points from safety.
Josh Vickers conceded a last-minute equaliser as Barnet moved to within two points of the play-offs after a 1-1 draw with Portsmouth.
The Bees had broken the deadlock with eight minutes left, but Pompey's Conor Chaplin fired into the top corner with seconds left to claim a share of the spoils.
Finally, Liam Shephard was part of Yeovil's starting XI as Darren Way's side went down 2-0 at Cheltenham.
The right-back made his 32nd appearance of the campaign for the Glovers, who are nine points off both the play-off and relegation zones.
Meanwhile, Bafe Gomis (Marseille), Franck Tabanou (Granada), Matt Grimes (Leeds), Alex Bray (Rotherham), Owain Jones (Yeovil) and Tom Holland (AFC Fylde) didn't feature for their respective clubs over the weekend.
