Swansea City has partnered with charitable organisation WildSpace to provide a sensory area in the family stand.

This new dedicated space will provide a quiet matchday environment which will be designed for young supporters with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other sensory needs; and will complement the busy central concourse space which will be sponsored by Buzz Parks.

As well as ear defenders, which can be borrowed, the WildSpace Sensory Zone will also include a wall bubble panel, activity trolley with fidget items, and therapy teddies.

Supporters who feel they would benefit from the WildSpace Sensory Zone should look to book tickets in the family stand (South Stand). To avoid the busy central area of the stand, you can enter via turnstile 11 and head directly to the WildSpace team.

Dan Rouse, WildSpace director and community manager, said: "We are absolutely thrilled to be working with Swansea City on this exciting project.

“As lifelong fans, it has been a pleasure to add to the inspiring foundations the club and the Swans Disabled Supporters' Association have in place, and to join them to create an inclusive Sensory Zone for young fans to enjoy.

“We are looking forward to welcoming you all!"

Swansea City head of supporter services, Hayley Ford, added: “We’re delighted to be working with WildSpace to improve the inclusivity of our family stand on matchday.

“The inclusion space in The Cwtch is a fantastic space and works really well, but it’s mainly accessible from the West Stand. This means that children who need this provision, and their siblings, may have to miss out on the atmosphere of the family stand.

“Being able to provide a safe space in the south stand which allows families to all have the same access to our family stand activities is such a great step for our future fans.”

COMPETITION TIME

To celebrate the launch of the WildSpace Sensory Zone, we are running a competition with children aged 13 and under invited to design the WildSpace tables.

Your design must be bright and colourful, square in shape, and should be themed around Swansea City and/or your favourite Swans memory or moment.

The winner will see their design used on the tables in the WildSpace sensory room and win two tickets to a Swansea City home league match.

The competition closes at 9am on July 21, 2025 and further details can be found HERE.
