Swansea City return to Royal Welsh Show
19th July
Premier League football will once again be displayed at this year's Royal Welsh Show which begins on Monday (July 20).
Coaches from Swansea City will head to the four-day event in mid Wales which usually attracts over 200,000 visitors to Llanelwedd, making it the biggest of its kind in Europe.
Swans Community Trust and Development coaches will be on hand for a second year running, holding football and skills sessions for boys and girls.
Visitors will also have a chance to meet and interact with people from the club - including Cyril the Swan and Club Ambassador Lee Trundle, who will join the event on Monday.
A host of Swans goodies are also up for grabs to win by entering our raffle.
Prizes include the new home and away kits, a mascot package for August's home friendly against Deportivo La Coruna and two season tickets for the 2015-16 Barclays Premier League season.
Tickets are £5 with the money going towards our club community charity SwansAid.
"Getting out to prestigious events such as the Royal Welsh Show is a hugely important aspect of the work we do at the club," said Swans Community Trust's Schools regional co-ordinator, Nigel Mathias.
"It enables us to reach out to wider spectrum of people from a range of rural communities, and further increase our fan base.
"The next four days also gives our coaches an opportunity to deliver structured football sessions to a large number of young children, many will have never had the experience of being coached by a Premier League club before.
"We are looking forward to seeing everyone over the next four days."
Swans coaches will be holding football sessions twice a day in the main ring Sports Village - please check for times - boys and girls of any age can turn up and take part.
