Swansea City sign Marvin Emnes from Middlesbrough in permanent deal

2nd July

Swansea City have completed the signing of Middlesbrough winger Marvin Emnes for an undisclosed fee.
Following two previous loan spells at the Liberty, Emnes made his move permanent by signing a three-year deal after he completed his medical today.
The 26-year-old's first loan stint came in the 2010-11 campaign when he spent a month at the Liberty, scoring twice in five appearances.
Last season, he made nine appearances - scoring once - after joining on loan in January.
He made an encouraging start in the 3-0 win over Cardiff City and went on to feature in the club's Europa League campaign while he signed off his loan spell by scoring in the final-day 3-1 win at Sunderland.
