Swansea City sign St Etienne's France Under-21 full-back Franck Tabanou

19th June

Swansea City have made their second signing of the summer following the arrival of St Etienne left-back Franck Tabanou for an undisclosed fee, subject to Premier League and international clearance.
The France Under-21 international has penned a three-year deal at the Liberty after undergoing a successful medical today (Friday).
He follows in the footsteps of Ghana international Andre Ayew, who joined the Swans on a free transfer from Marseille last week.
Tabanou, who will wear squad number 14, has plenty of experience having played in the Europa League and previously the Uefa Cup, while he has 12 caps for his country at U21 level.

The 26-year-old, who started his career as a winger, will boost Swans boss Garry Monk's options at left-back, with his new arrival set to compete with Neil Taylor for a place in his starting XI.
Tabanou made his professional debut at Toulouse, going on to make over 100 appearances for the club.
He was a first-team regular during the 2010-11 season, making 34 appearances and scoring four goals in Ligue 1.
His good form continued throughout the following two campaigns which alerted other clubs to his ability.
Of these clubs, St Etienne moved to secure the services of Tabanou, where he made 34 appearances - scoring three goals - in his first season at the French side as he helped them qualify for the Europa League play-off round following a fourth-place finish.
This season, Tabanou scored once in 37 appearances as Les Verts ended the season in fifth, which again earned Europa League qualification.
