Swansea City stars spread festive cheer with kids' annual party

16th December

The Swansea City squad added some Christmas cheer to the local kids of Swansea during a special party at the Liberty Stadium.
The Liberty hosted hundreds of children who had spent time at the Dyfed Ward of Morriston Hospital throughout 2015, plus other youngsters from the local community who had been through a difficult time thsi year.
The event, organised by the Swans, nursing staff at Morriston Hospital and local businessman Phil Lake, once again proved a big success as the Swans stars had pictures taken, signed autographs and chatted with the excited youngsters.
Swans defender Angel Rangel was among the players at the party, and he was delighted to see the children enjoying themselves.
"Christmas is a really special time of the year and we know how much the children enjoy the annual party," said Rangel. "I've been to quite a few of these parties since I arrived at the club back in 2007, and every year I see the players enjoying themselves as much as the children. It's a privilege to meet the kids and their parents.
"Swansea City is a community club and we know how important a role the club plays in the city, so for us to spend time with kids who have had some tough times this year is the least we can do."

We have included some of the best pictures from the festive fun in our gallery above.
