Time to Talk

As a pledged employer for Time to Change Wales, Swansea City was delighted to support this years’ Time to Talk Day by having a conversation about mental health.

Club ambassador Lee Trundle was joined by former team-mate Andy Robinson as they spoke with Phil Jones - founder of Swansea Outdoor Fitness and the club's well-being consultant - about mental health and the difficulties they have all experienced in both their professional and personal lives.

The zoom call provided a true and authentic insight into the mental health of professional footballers and how their mental health was impacted during and after their playing careers.

We’re encouraging our supporters to start a conversation about mental health today - one small conversation can make a big difference.

If you are experiencing mental health problems or need urgent support, you can contact Samaritans on 116 123 (available 24/7)
