Swansea City Tottenham Under-18s Brandon Griffiths

5th February

Striker Brandon Griffiths is targeting a strong finish to the season as Swans U18s take in their final game in Premier League South this weekend.
The young Swans face Tottenham at Landore Training Ground on Saturday (11am) before they meet four teams from the northern league in the coming weeks.
The scholars go into the game off the back of a narrow 2-1 defeat away to West Ham - a game in which Griffiths had opened the scoring.
"I felt we deserved something against West Ham last Saturday," he said. "We dominated large spells during both halves and were unlucky to have a second goal ruled out, while we created good chances but missed opportunities to score.
"As a team we need to bank all the positives we took last weekend and apply it to our game against Tottenham."

The 18-year-old striker has netted two goals in the last two games to take his tally to seven for the season. And the young Swan hopes to add a few more goals before the end of the campaign.
"I am feeling confident," he added. "We are playing well as a team and if we carry on creating chances I am sure we will get more goals.
"We have come a long way this season and we need to take everything we have learned into our game against Spurs to finish off this part of the season with a win.
"Three points would mean we have a chance to finish off the bottom of the group, which would be a fantastic achievement for our first season in category one."
