Swansea City trio in Wales squad for October triple header

Swansea City trio Connor Roberts, Joe Rodon and Ben Cabango have been included in the Wales squad for games against England, the Republic of Ireland and Bulgaria.

Roberts and Cabango were involved in last month’s Nations League wins over Finland and Bulgaria, with the latter winning his first cap in Helsinki.

For Rodon, this will be his first inclusion in Ryan Giggs’ squad since October 2019 following injury and the suspension of football caused by the Coronavirus pandemic.

Wales face England for the first time since 2016 in a friendly at Wembley on Thursday, October 8, before continuing their Nations League Group B campaign with a trip to Dublin on Sunday, October 11 and a visit to Sofia on Wednesday, October 14.

Oli Cooper, Joe Lewis, Liam Cullen, Dan Williams and Brandon Cooper have been named in the Wales Under-21 squad for their game against Belgium.
