Swansea City Under-18s Arsenal Premier League South

8th January

Swansea City Under-18s begin 2016 away at Arsenal's training centre in Premier League South on Saturday morning (11am).
The Gunners are unbeaten in their last five league games while the young Swans have only lost once in their last four matches.
The game ended 0-0 when the sides met at Landore back in October, and U18s coach Eric Ramsay believes the side have come a long way since that game.
"We defended extremely well when we played Arsenal earlier this season," he said. "They had some good chances which we managed to keep out while they were fortunate not to concede.
"As a squad we have progressed since then and will be looking to apply what we have learned this Saturday.
"We had a good run of games before the Christmas break that saw us pick up wins against Norwich and Southampton and we must aim to pick up where we left off.
"As a team we want to continue the momentum we built throughout November and December. The performances were excellent and we picked up some good results in the league.
"We have a tough run of fixtures this month including games against Chelsea, West Ham and Tottenham. Our ultimate aim will be to continue our good performances, pick up as many points as possible and get off the bottom of the table before we face teams from the northern division."
The Under-18s have a full squad to pick from, though Portuguese winger Causso Darame is a doubt due to a back injury.
