Swansea City Under-18s Liam Edwards

20th January

Winger Liam Edwards insists Swansea City Under-18s must be ruthless in front of goal when they meet Leicester in Premier League South at Fairwood on Saturday (11am).
A Liam Cullen brace and a goal from winger Causso Darame ensured the young Swans beat the Foxes earlier this season.
Last time out, the U18s were narrowly beaten by Newcastle United in the FA Youth Cup earlier this month.
Despite that defeat, 17-year-old Edwards believes the team can take positives from their performance at St James' Park.
"We can take heart from the Newcastle game," he said. "Even though the result did not go our way we dominated possession and had more shots on goal.

"We deserved more but did not do enough to get the win.
"Results have not been going our way and it is up to us to change that. We need to be ruthless and take our chances in front of goal this weekend.
"We had a good result against Leicester earlier this season and can take confidence from that result into this game. But we must work hard to ensure we pass the ball well and create opportunities in the final third.
"There are eight games left until the end of the season, so we must look to push on and continue to improve."

This weekends game takes place at Fairwood Training Ground. Entry is FREE to watch the game with kick-off at 11am.
