Swansea City under-18s Marco Dulca

5th January

Midfielder Marco Dulca believes Swansea City Under-18s must play with no fear when they meet Chelsea in Premier League South at Landore on Thursday (11am).
The young Swans have only lost one home league game this season but still remain bottom of the table, while leaders Chelsea have not been defeated in the league since September.
Dulca, who joined the academy on a two-year scholarship from Romanian side U Cluj in August 2015, believes his side can go into the game with confidence following some good performances at the end of 2016.
"We have an excellent record at home this season and we don't want that to change in 2017," said the 17-year-old.
"We need to go into the game with no fear. Chelsea are a big academy but we can match them on the pitch if we go in with the right mentality.
"We have a strong team with good players and need to start showing that with results.
"I think 2017 can be a big year for the team and myself and I am looking forward to the challenge. I aim to play more minutes with the U18s to help them climb the table in the coming months."
