Swansea City Under-18s Reading

29th October

Two late goals from Reading Under-18 denied the young Swans victory in Premier League South on Saturday at Hogwood Park.
The home side took a first-half lead through winger Joel Rollinson before the young Swans levelled from a set-piece through defender Mael Davies.
The visitors took the lead minutes before the break through Oliver Cooper as the midfielder dispossessed a Royals defender before a neat finish.
Swansea were reduced to ten men in the closing stages of the game as scorer Davies was dismissed, and Reading took full advantage as Jordan Holsgrove squalised before the home capitalised on a spilled cross as full-back Teddy Howe scored the winner late on.

The young Swans next face Southampton at Landore this Saturday, November 5 (11am).
