Swansea City Under-21s Brighton Premier League

16th August

Swansea City Under-21s return to Premier League Division Two action on Monday night against Brighton at the AMEX Stadium (7pm ko).
Swans striker Ollie McBurnie returns to the squad after recovering from a thigh strain, while Josh Vickers looks to make his first appearance since signing a two-year deal last week.
The development squad hope to bounce back following their narrow defeat at home to West Brom last Monday while Brighton opened their league season with a 1-0 loss away at Fulham.
Despite the defeat, Head of Academy Coaching David Adams says the squad have taken plenty of positives from the game against West Brom.
"As a group we performed really well and had a lot of really good chances that on another day would have gone in," Adams said.
"Overall I am pleased, our aim now is to build on that performance and take it into our game against Brighton.
"It will be another good test for us as they play in a very similar style.
"We need to go into the game with the same level of pace and intensity we offered against West Brom.
"The Swansea style is always to play positive attacking football that is the best way to help develop players for first team and if we keep getting the performances right results will come."
