Swansea City Under-21s head to Holland for training camp

20th July

David Adams says Swans Under-21s' pre-season trip to Holland will be another good test ahead of the 2015-16 campaign.
The club's development squad flew out to The Hague on Sunday for a six-day training camp and three friendly matches.
The young Swans kick-off the tour against ADO Den Haag on Tuesday (July 21) before games against Rijnsburgse Boys (July 23) and FC Laakkwartier (July 24).
And Adams believes the trip will be a great learning experience for what is a youthful travelling party.
"We start the tour on Tuesday against Den Haag and follow that up games on Thursday and Friday against local professional teams," he said.
"It will be a really good test for our us against senior opposition and our young players to get exposed to as many senior games as possible because it really pushes them on.
"Going to a different environment to play different teams with different styles are great ingredients for young players to help them improve and develop."

The Under-21s began their pre-season programme with a 3-1 defeat against Merthyr Town last weekend before a 2-2 draw against Conference side Wrexham at Landore.
After returning from Holland they face League Two side Yeovil at Huish Park (August 4) before beginning their maiden Barclays Premier League South campaign against West Brom at Landore on August 10.
"Overall, I am pleased with our first two games and despite the results I think some of the football we have played at times has been excellent," said Adams.
"We are going to play a lot of different players during this period, managing the game time and giving all the players a chance to show what they have got.
"As time goes on and fitness levels improve, we will play the players who begin to stand out, but at the moment it is a chance for us to look at all the players available to us."
