Swansea City Under-23s Cameron Toshack

21st November

Cameron Toshack hailed Swansea City Under-23s' table-topping form as they moved five points clear at the top of Premier League 2 (Division 2) with a 1-0 win over Brighton on Monday.
A first-half header from in-form striker Oli McBurnie was enough to seal the young Swans' eighth win of the season - their fourth league victory in a row.
The win also saw them keep a third clean sheet in as many games with Toshack believing Swansea could have been more clincal in front of goal.
"We are very pleased with the result," he said. "We created some fantastic opportunities in front of goal and if we had gone in at the break two or three up, no one could have complained.
"We got the ball into wide areas with a number of positive deliveries which is pleasing.
"However, we should have taken more chances making the win more comfortable and managed the game better, but we will continue to learn.
"On another day, we know our players can score goals, so we are not too concerned about missed opportunities tonight but we know there is some room for improvement.
"We are pleased to be top of the table - it is an indication of how well we are doing as a group and we want to keep that run going.
"We are in a strong position now as we head into a group of away fixtures in the league and cup. It will be a difficult testing time for us but one where we will succeed if we put the performances in."
