Swansea City Under-23s Dinamo Zagreb

11th November

Swansea City Under-23s look to continue their impressive season when they face Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb in the International Cup at Landore today (5pm).
The young Swans, who beat League Two leaders Plymouth Argyle 2-0 to qualify for the knock-out stage of the Checkatrade Trophy on Tuesday, play their fourth game in 12 days.
Swansea are top of Group D following an impressive 2-0 victory over an experienced Feyenoord II side at Landore in October, thanks to goals from Tom Plezier and Botti Biabi.
And coach Gary Richards believes the side must look to progress against Croatian opposition tonight.
"Our victory against Feyenoord was definitely one of our best performances of the season," said the U23s coach.
"Myself and Cameron (Toshack) could not have been more delighted with how we played, but we must build on that result tonight against Zagreb.

"Another win would give us six points and mean we are in a strong position to progress from the group.
"Zagreb are in the Under-19s Champions League so they are used to European competition and will not be push-overs.
"We are playing with confidence at Landore and we must take advantage of that to continue our excellent home record.
"A few players are away with Wales Under-19s this international break which means we will have to rotate the team but we have a strong squad to choose from which will include some Under-18s players, which will be good experience for them.
"This competition only adds another opportunity for our young Swans to learn and develop their football."

The Under-23s face Dinamo Zagreb at Landore at 5pm today. Entry for fans is FREE, but there is no parking at the Landore facility.
