Swansea City Under-23s Keston Davies

23rd October

Skipper Keston Davies has challenged Swansea City Under-23s to convert their home form to points on the road - starting at Aston Villa on Monday afternoon (2pm).
Two goals from Oli McBurnie saw the young Swans beat Fulham 2-0 at Landore last week to send them back to the top of Premier League 2 (Division 2).
Despite an unbeaten start to the season at home, the U23s have only recorded one victory on the road so far this season.
And centre-back Davies has called on the team to start building momentum away against Villa.
"We have to follow on from last week's win and continue our consistency in the league," said the 20-year-old.
"We have been working hard every day in training to give 100 per cent and it is vital we continue our momentum.
"I feel we are going in the right direction but we must make sure we continue on this path because it is a long season.
"The attitude from the squad has been first class so far but we know we can't relax. We have to keep pushing ourselves if we want to be the best team in the league.
"We have built a fantastic home record with four wins from four, now we need to try and create that consistency away from home.
"We took a great result against Newport County at their place earlier this month, so we can go into the Villa game with plenty of confidence.
"The game will be a huge test for us. Villa beat us in the play-offs at the end of last season which was devastating, so we want to put that right in the league this campaign.
